What We Stand For
Hear from our founder
signing on with Marty was one of the best career decisions I've ever made.
Marty brings an approach that has helped me stay even-keeled, keep everything in perspective, and not become overwhelmed with the challenges of the day to day in these extremely challenging times. With Marty’s help, I’ve been able to operate at my best, focus on the critical not the urgent, and maintain a happy and healthy work-life balance. The most amazing thing I have learned about Marty is that he practices what he teaches. He lets his actions working with you speak for him, he leads by example, and that has helped give me the confidence and adaptability that I need to be even more successful. I truly couldn’t be more pleased with the time we’ve worked together.

As the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Peak Performance International, I’m committed to helping successful leaders reach a level of confidence, performance, and fulfillment beyond what they thought was possible. In my time as a leadership and performance coach, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with a variety of professionals, from start up entrepreneurs to senior leaders at some of the world’s top companies. I hold a psychology degree from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin and live in Metro Detroit with my wife, two children, and dog. I also enjoy serving on Boards of Directors for non-profit organizations and competing in triathlons with my friends.
I’m thrilled to do this work with you, because I’ve seen the incredible impact it has made on my life.
I spent decades unsure of what direction I should head and scared to take action or make decisions since.
I didn’t want to “make a mistake.” I delayed long enough that I found myself as a drained and frustrated lawyer who felt stuck in life and worried it would never change.
I finally committed to doing the hard work of introspection and summoning the courage to take action. As a result, and because I care deeply about people, I decided to leave the law firm my grandfather started to pursue my dream of becoming a coach. In the process, I realized that life is a winding journey, and challenges strengthen us and clarify our path forward. I realized that we’re capable of much more than we typically realize, and our “problems” are only problems if we think they’re problems. I realized that a healthy mind, body, and relationships are the foundations of a good life.
By living my life in alignment with these realizations, I’ve been able to create a life I love that I share with the people who matter most to me. I can’t wait to help you reach your potential at work and in life, too!
Thank you so much for your guidance and insights Marty!
To say that [Marty] was ‘very helpful’ is an extreme understatement. I went to him with a ‘perceived’ problem I was having in my career. Through the next three months we had in-depth conversations with pointed questions and truth-telling exercises which never addressed my career specifically, but only my own personality, my story and my mantra. After three months my eyes have been opened and that “problem” has been redefined and is now an opportunity.

As Chief Operating Officer at Peak Performance International, I help make the company’s vision a reality. With prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm and non-profit organizations, my background in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and change management consulting allows me to meet the needs of clients in a variety of industries and roles. I have an MBA and degrees in economics and geology from the University of Michigan and live in Metro Detroit with my husband, child, and cats. I spend my spare time exploring local parks and growing giant sunflowers in my garden.
I’m so excited to help you fulfill your potential, because it’s a journey that I’m on, too.
I’ve often gone down paths that seemed to be the “right” thing to do or what was “expected,” but not necessarily what I found most enjoyable or fulfilling. At times, I’d find myself burned out, exhausted, and frustrated with my situation.
Over time, I realized that I’m in control of my life, and I can make choices that enable me to live a great life. I realized that I will be more fulfilled and better positioned to make a positive impact on the world if I follow my calling – doing the work I’m doing now. I realized it’s okay to choose not to do some things that I’m “supposed to do,” so that I can focus more on the things that are most important to me, like my family and my health.
I’ve taken steps to live my life based on those realizations, and I am happier, healthier, and more fulfilled as a result. Let’s work together to increase your confidence, performance, and fulfillment, too!
